Analysis & Review

Stockfish, classified moves, named patterns.

Drop a PGN, paste a FEN, or replay your last Maia game. Pawnther runs Stockfish 16 in the cloud, labels every move (brilliant → blunder), and detects the recurring habits behind your losses. Then it queues the drill that fixes them.

What you get back

Four layers of feedback.

Each layer is independently useful. The pattern-detection one is what makes Pawnther different.

Eval bar + engine lines

Stockfish 16 at depth 22, three top lines per position, evaluation graph across the game. The classical-strength output you'd expect, served fast from the cloud.

Move classification

Every move labelled: brilliant, good, inaccuracy, mistake, blunder, missed-win. Each label has a one-line reason, not a silent eval-drop.

Pattern detection

"You keep dropping knights after queen trades." "You miss back-rank threats after castling kingside." Patterns are named in human language and aggregated across recent games.

Retry mistakes

Every blunder gets a retry button. Replay the position with Stockfish hints disabled. Find the move you should have played, get it queued for tomorrow's drill.

Free vs Pro

The analysis line.

Free gets you the essentials. Pro lifts the limits and adds pattern detection across your history.
